DREAMQUEST cover reveal!
Plus a free comic...
Hey there! Is it new comic book day already?
Got a couple (!) of cover reveals coming your way—plus that free comic to whet your appetite—but first I wanted to correct a boneheaded error I made in the last email…
…which was my utter failure to mention that the DREAMQUEST logo was designed by none other than OG FRIED letterer Charles Pritchett:
Charles is a swell guy and currently the lead designer at Aftershock, publisher of some of the finest comics on the stands today. He created one hell of a logo for us, and I can’t believe I forgot to mention it. Consider the record corrected!
OK - now onto the cover reveal. Drumroll, please…
Our main cover comes to us courtesy of DREAMQUEST artist Mick Beyers and colorist extraordinaire Ilaria Chiocca:
We think Mick nailed the trippy aspect of the story, while Ilaria’s color palette has us thinking of those amazing Michael Golden Batman covers from back in the day.
But wait! There’s more! We have a couple of variants to unveil…
One will be burning up your inbox soon, but the other is a painted cover by Luca Strati, whose credits include Mars Attacks Red Sonja for Dynamite:
Luca’s cover will come in two versions—the one you see above, and the other… well, you’ll just have to wait and see…
To further whet your appetite for this absolute monster of a tale, we’re giving ORDER UP subscribers a free download of the prequel story Mick and I published in NIGHTMARE THEATER 2.
You don’t have to have read this 12-page story—or *any* Lovecraft—to appreciate DREAMQUEST. But if you have, you’ll get a richer experience.
“Beyond the Wall of Sleep” is by the same team that’s bringing you DREAMQUEST: Me, Mick, and colorist Julio Rojas.
Fair warning: a few pages are NSFW, so careful where you open it!

If you like what you see, we’d love you to follow our pre-launch page so you can be among the first to back when we go live in just a few short weeks:
And finally, if you missed our 6-page preview last time out, what are you doing? Head on over and check it out.
That’s all for now, Frequent Friers. More soon!
