Or it didn't happen.
After my last post, Frequent Frier Luke Soroko sent this photo of our FRIED Comics panel at the 2013 Denver Comic Con:
I also remember that 2013 edition of Denver Comic Con, as that's how I was introduced to Fried Comics! I attended your panel, and then you were gracious enough to do an interview shortly after the event. Denver Comic Con has certainly grown and changed since then (it's now known as Fan Expo Denver).
I remember that interview, and it was a blast.
Great to hear from you, Luke, and thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Final 48 Hours for PBOW:
We had a monster of a day on Kickstarter yesterday, and as of this writing, we are SO close to funding:
ICYMI: in addition to our book, everyone who backs at the $5 and up level will receive free digital copies of the 60-page Justin Gray sampler, featuring the complete first issues of Lady Redbeard and Standstill; Silent Knight #1 by George O'Connor and DaFu Yu; and Happy Hill #1 by Rich Douek, Joe Mulvey, and our friends at ComixTribe.
Not a bad deal!
There are still a couple of commissions left and some Terrible Frieda sketch covers available too, so if you’ve been waiting to grab those, now’s the time. The Kickstarter ends at 4 pm Eastern on Thursday, June 9th, so:
(And here’s one last look at those covers, too, because why not?)
See you there?
P.S. In the coming weeks, I’ll have updates on BLAZING BLADE OF FRANKENSTEIN, NIGHTMARE THEATER, and that mystery project I’ve been teasing. So, as Marvin Berry says: “Don’t nobody go nowhere.”
