How are things?

It’s the calm before the storm, AKA the week before I don’t sleep for four days SDCC, so I thought I’d take a brief minute to check the socials and see what—

Don, you know I don’t condone swear words. But thanks for the kind, non-swear-y ones about NIGHTMARE THEATER 3-D!

I’m happy to report that the 3-D conversion is finally complete, and this one will be headed off to the printer real soon and I can finally sleep attend Comic Con.

If you’re an NT3D backer, look for surveys in the next few days, followed by your digital copies.

And if you’re not a backer…

Let’s all stop ignoring the elephant in the room…

Super psyched for my PRODIGAL SON co-writer Don Handfield and his former Scout Comics (co-)publisher David Byrne to finally break this news to the world.

Non-SDCC “Content”

When I get back from the con, I’ll be sleeping diving into a pretty intense session of writing for a few projects—some top secret, some not.

But I’ve been doing a fair bit of lettering recently, and one of the books I’m working on is currently on Kickstarter. Namely…

Pioneers: Blood & Stars Parts #1-3

In the third act of this beautifully crafted (five part) saga, creator / artist / NIGHTMARE THEATER 3-D contributor Peter Taylor joins forces with colorist / fantasy illustrator / game designer Falk Hänsel to show that LOVE is not always blind, coffee making is NEVER someone’s only talent and if you really put your mind to it... you can even shock a vampire!

Two iconic genres collide in episode #3 of this epic saga where "Alien" meets "The Expanse" by way of "The Hunger"!

Battle Panda 1 - 3

Battle Panda is a fun, feel good uplifting adventure comic that’s Goonies meets TMNT. It’s written by Farhan and  Melissa J Massey, with art by Crystal Pandita, colors by Warnia Sahadewa, letters by Justin Birch and edits by NIGHTMARE THEATER volume 1 contributor Nicole D'Andria.

It’s family friendly action that’s black & white & (should be) read all over!
